Instead of heading to the beach for Fourth of July festivities, thousands of Californians will hit the slopes to enjoy rare late-season skiing due to bountiful winter snowfall.

Many regions in the Rockies will have multi year snow pack as they will not fully melt this year.. I believe the term is glaciation... Many east/west valleys where glaciers were just 20 years ago will again have glaciers in them..

Instead of heading to the beach for Fourth of July festivities, thousands of Californians will hit the slopes to enjoy rare late-season skiing due to bountiful winter snowfall.

Was just looking at the day and night time temps for the regions mountains above 7,000 feet and they are 10-15 deg Below Normal. Well below freezing at night in the ski resort areas and the peak of temps at that elevation is usually July 1. Its going to be an interesting next couple of years as upper air temps allow cooling of the surface soon at valley locations.

Areas of the Big Horn Mountains around Yellowstone are barely above freezing already during the day time.. There is still 20' of snow in many high mountain valley locations.. We just unburied a couple of the snow-tel stations to repair telemetry and measurement instrumentation. When we assessed compaction of the snow, its going to have to get very hot to melt it all. I just don't see it happening with the temps already falling.

He gives no time limit, no 20-year deadline. That deadline was for "We're really going to get caught out. Snow will probably cause chaos in 20 years time", and that prediction is clearly true.

A journalist added the "within a few years" part, not Dr. Viner.

An unnamed sub-editor added the "Snowfalls are a Thing of the Past" headline, not any scientist. Steve Goddard lied and attributed the line to "Top British Experts", and flac copied that lie here.

So, what flac managed to show was how deniers use fake quotes to push their alarmist agenda about a global socialist UN plot, which was something everyone already knew. The SNOTEL data for Colorado shows a deepest reading of ... 0.4 inches.
