The only way to end gun-violence in some of those neighborhoods on Chicago's West and South Sides is to turn a flamethrower on some of those blocks and burn them down... some of the worst $hitholes in a city whose innards have turned to $hit in the past 60-70 years...

That might fix the problem, but I don't think we want it fixed that bad (at that price). Cheaper to let the city implode. ;-)
