Yes .. boys were male and girls were female. Oh the days .. and much later than the 1940s. Children dressed appropriately, there was discipline and respect for authority, less government intervention in school and children were taught the basic school classes: government, economics, math, english and science with no woke agenda or outcome.

Oh yeah things were perfect except that anyone who was not white and middle class barely received any sort of public education.

Anyone who is non-white today is experiencing the same experience .. especially in blue led states like Oregon, where law has been passed to reduce graduation requirements in math so that students can graduate.

So .. besides that .. what else were you complaining about?

I always stomp on these "good old days when everything was perfect" threads, The good old days were not all that good.

You know in the 50s most American students got along just fine with a 6-8 grade education.
