The core message from yesterday's elections is Democrats you made a humongous, off-the-charts mistake passing Obamacare in early 2010. The 2010 elections significantly wounded the Democrat Party over Obamacare giving the House to the Republicans and the 2014 elections killed the Democrat Party over this issue giving the Senate to the Republicans! Two Incumbent Senate Democrats losing their seats and another Incumbent Senate Democrat clearing appearing to underscores this point, Hagan from North Carolina, Udall from Colorado being the former and Begich from Alaska being the latter! The political experts will tell you that yesterday's election was the American electorate voicing their dissatisfaction with the economy that wages aren't growing like they want and the economy is not creating enough good paying middle class jobs but to really get to the bottom of this problem one needs to ask what are the major reasons for this poor jobs state in the country? One major reason is that the 2010 Affordable Care Act isn't at all affordable on American businesses it is irrefutable that it has caused them to make huge numbers of workers part time workers that would otherwise be full-time workers and caused them to hold back as much as they can on hiring because they don't want to incur the health insurance expense on such new workers and overall it has put a pawl on business confidence throughout the country as America's business executives try to figure out what is the ramifications of this legislation!

This is no surprise to responsible knowledgeable people about the 2010 healthcare legislation, at the time a sea of experts said the legislation's mandates were going to skyrocket health insurance premiums and cause businesses not to hire and cause significant numbers of employers to drop employer sponsored health insurance and it has all come to fruition. The lesson here is like a 900 pound gorilla in a room it is a clear warning to members of Congress on important legislation do the right thing don't just further your party's short-term interest. Now it is the Republicans turn to see if they hold this value, there is going to plenty of tests over the next two years to see where the Republicans are on this character issue. Here is a heads up for Republicans, repealing Obamacare fails the test Obamacare is providing ten plus million American's with health insurance through the exchanges and Medicaid expansion Obamacare needs to be dramatically changed to stop its humongous job killing effects but repeal is unconscionable!

A real irony about yesterday's elections is that Republican voting blocs feel great because their party gained power in taking over the Senate and Democrat voting blocs feel great because they sent a loud and clear message to Democrat politicians that if you promise something to us and you don't deliver we will punish you you will be held accountable. Actually, what both Republicans and Democrats should most feel great about is that all the American people won because the democratic system worked the system should do exactly what it did which is for elected representatives when they don't do what is right when they don't do what is good i.e. healthcare reform legislation they get their butts thrown out of office!

Obama has been the best thing for REPUBLICANS and the worst thing for DEMOCRATS

you have to give him credit for that at least. dumbass thought being a thug is what the people wanted. well they SHOWED HIM:thewave:
