Hardly surprising. The US solution (especially right wing solution) is "lock 'em up", I mean, it worked as a slogan for Trump.

"You have mental problems? Well you can just get a job to pay for the medical care because you won't be able to get insurance for that and the govt isn't helping you. Oh, you can't actually work. Well, fuck you then, we'll just lock you up, then we don't need to see you"
