Two more arrests over 39 lorry deaths

Two people have been arrested on suspicion of the manslaughter of 39 people found dead in a refrigerated lorry in Essex.

The man and woman, both 38, from Warrington, Cheshire, were also held on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic.

Detectives are still questioning the lorry driver on suspicion of murder.

The victims - 31 men and eight women - are believed to be Chinese. They were found at an industrial estate in Grays at 01:40 BST on Wednesday.

Essex Police has been given extra time to question driver Mo Robinson, of County Armagh in Northern Ireland, who was arrested on Wednesday.

4 arrests so far. It looks like some of the victims are from Vietnam as well.
These people paid the gangsters £30k each to traffic them. Over £1m cargo in that truck. Staggering figures.

Also outside Houston there was a trailer found many years ago with dead illegals and the driver was convicted...

I dont think we know the half of it yet. This truck and trailer went through north and south Ireland and France and Belgium before its final crossing to Essex. And that doesnt explain how the victims got to France in the first place.

Just thinking out loud but it would make more sense to charge them the 30k as the price of admission and squeeze the profits of the crims. After all if they can save that much in Vietnam they must be hard working.

.we have a LOT of Vietnamese working at our company in the US
..also a Taiwanese, Chinese,Africans, Russian, Bosnian, etc
...so we lose jobs/factories to those places and they send workers here = US is double fked

First charges - the driver. I suspect that they will be looking to squeeze him to cough up more.
Info so far shows most of the arrested are from Ulster which suggests a loyalist paramilitary involvement.
