Why do Dems insist on messing with kid's minds? They are teaching them early that they might not really be boys or girls. It plants doubt. Then when a very young child decides they might be the opposite sex, parents are supposed to get them treated. Liberals are pushing doctors to recommend transitioning. Seriously, for a 6 year old!! Most of them outgrow this by the time they hit puberty. By then, they have already been subjected to drugs and everything else, maybe even surgery. The left is so determined to create more transgenders. Good population control strategy, I guess. Kids shouldn't even be discussing this. Let them be kids and let them figure things out when they are old enough to understand. Why frighten or confuse them by telling them they might not be what they think they are?

The left is seeking to control our language and our behavior. This by people who have little understanding of human behavior.

After the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital’s Transgender Health Clinic recommended these treatments for the girl’s gender dysphoria, the parents wanted to pursue counseling instead. Then the county’s family services agency charged the parents with abuse and neglect, and the judge terminated their custody.

Similar cases are proceeding through the courts with children as young as6 years old.

Meanwhile, studies show that 80 to 95 percent of children no longer experience gender dysphoria after puberty. Politicizing medicine could have serious consequences for children who are exposed to the unnecessary medical risks of drastic therapies.

A federal sexual orientation and gender identity law would make these cases more common."

There is no such thing as "sexual orientation" nor "gender identity." You are either male or female unless hermaphrodite.

It's all the left has. If they can't convince people that they are victims in need of a huge controlling government, the left becomes totally irrelevant. That is why they must divide people and pit each group against the other.

You're right. We already have a constitution and Bill of Rights that guarantees equal rights. When the left declares that a certain group of people are victims, they make laws that favor them over others.

In this case, they are trying to control both behavior and language. If you even disagree with some premise, they want to have laws that enable them to punish you for not supporting their narrative.

The scariest part of the bill is government having the ability to take your young child away from you because you refuse to allow doctors to start treatment for a sex change. Experts agree that delaying puberty by drugs or other treatment is likely to do more harm than good. Only adults should decide to undergo any kind of treatment for that. Experts say most children who are gender confused (and likely because leftist teachers have talked them into it) tend to get over it by puberty.

Virtually everything the left does have one single goal. To allow government to control every aspect of our lives. They are accomplishing this by creating problems and then offering fake solutions that transfer all power to government and allows them to redistribute our money. If the left were to have their way, we would literally have no liberty or freedom. They are doing it all under the guise of protecting people. No one will be safe if they succeed. History proves this and we will see a repeat of all the atrocities of the past if people don't wise up. Schools are designed to teach students compliance. The truth is not taught anymore.

Hillary said that government should take the lead in raising children and that parents should have a secondary role. Of course, Hillary also doesn't believe the 2nd amendment is reasonable and that makes her dangerous. People like her are the very reason our founding fathers wrote the constitution and Bill of Rights the way they did.

So many now consider themselves victims and they all feel entitled to things. They will vote Dem because they foolishly believe that they will somehow be better off if they cede freedom so government can go after the bad people. They don't realize that either we all have rights or none of us have rights.
