Since Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts earlier this year, I was wondering:

Has America ever had a convicted felon / President?

Maybe some of you history buffs can tell me, because I can't recall one.
The geezer/business fraud/sexual abuser is unique in his moral depravity, as well as his rejection of democracy, our justice system, and our law enforcement agencies. Based upon a plethora of credible evidence and sworn testimony, he has been indicted on multiple counts beyond those in which a jury of his peers found him guilty, but his lawyers have postponed justice in those adjudications.

He has a cult who either approve of or deny the repugnant, documented reality.

The question is, did democrats get it from Maduro or did Maduro get it from democrats? Or, is jailing political opposition just a communist thing?
The question is Maduro or Republicans? Who got the idea that candidates are above the law? Don't they realize it is a banana Republic thing.

There were no tax charges added to the 34 expired misdemeanor charges.
So...........
Why did he enter them in his ledger as "legal" expenses?

Donald Trump, Stormy Daniels and the $130000 payment ...

Apr 15, 2024 — The case against former President Donald Trump stems from a "hush money" payment of $130000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

The panel found that Trump falsified business documents that reflected a series of payments he made to his former lawyer, Michael Cohen. Those payments reimbursed Cohen for $130,000 in hush money that he sent to porn star Stormy Daniels 12 days before the 2016 election. At the time, Daniels was threatening to go public with her account of having had sex with Trump a decade earlier.

Trump, with Cohen as a middle man, struck a non-disclosure deal with Daniels to ensure her claims didn’t damage his White House bid. But when Trump later reimbursed Cohen, he falsely designated the money as legal expenses in his company’s books.

Legal expenses are deductible, NDA payments are deductible.
