Since Donald Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts earlier this year, I was wondering:

Has America ever had a convicted felon / President?

Maybe some of you history buffs can tell me, because I can't recall one.

I'm also trying to think of an example of a candidate who received no votes from their party.

I know of no convicted felon ever elected.

The only thing that comes to mind that's hardly relevant is an ex-Vice President that was tried for treason.
