A Little "What If"

What is it that you can prove which makes them an enemy if the country?
Keep in mind there's over 170 million of them. Do you think it's time to get out the guns and eliminate them?

How about the guy next door etc, that's a Democrat. Do you hate him and tell him so? Is he a threat to your silly freedom?
You know nothing. Just another hate filled brain dead republican.
Actually, I have.

Without progressiveism the government that came out of the great depression would have sided with the Nazis.

FDR was an ardent supporter of fascism. The entire progressive elite loved Stalin. Even when it was found out he had murdered 3 million of his own they lauded him for his strength.

Are you stupid or just ignorant?

FDR saved the US and then saved the free world

No, that credit belongs to George C. Marshall. If FDR hadn't been a Hitler fan boi, the Nazis would have never gotten off the ground.

Progressives allowed Hitler to take power, and then did nothing as he began taking land that he wasn't entitled to.

Are you truly this ignorant of history or are you hoping you can lie about FDR and hope we are that ignorant?

Either way, YOU are lying.

Marshall was a great strategist
FDR was wise to choose him
So was Truman

He wasn't just a strategist.
You should read some real history instead of the wiki crap you rely on.

Know more than you Skippy
That is how I know FDR was one of our greatest Presidents

Also how I know Trump was one of our worst

westwall Just like how these brain-dead Leftists think FDR's "Raw Deal" took the US out of the Depression when in fact his policies PROLONGED it. It was WWII that pulled us out.

Republicans had their chance under Hoover. Their hands off, do nothing, prosperity is just around the corner just allowed things to get worse.

FDR came in with the goal of reducing the suffering of the people. Getting them work, food in their belly, a roof over their head.

Republicans only cared about the suffering of the banks

Again, it is NOT the government's fucking job to be our daddy! Get this right. Hoover had the right idea, let the recession, and that's what it really was, a recession, run its course. FDR prolonged it by 10 years!

Let me see….

We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

You bet your ass it is their fucking job

Maybe if you only look at the bottom line

But FDR looked at peoples lives. People were suffering, losing their jobs, losing their homes, going hungry.

Letting it “run its course” is not an option

the fucking government is not our daddy. ONLY God Almighty is.

Not likely. We had already formed an alliance with England, that became stronger after WWI. There was no chance the US would have turned away form that 2 decade later.

McKinley had one more term to serve

That happened in his second term. And there was no "Two Term Law" in place yet, it was just a tradition at that point.

And his first term is rather interesting. Both with the Boxer Rebellion, then the Spanish-American War. He also annexed Hawaii, and expanded US power to Puerto Rico and the Philippines.

There is a chance that if he had remained in office, some of his cabinet might have been able to get him to push for the outright annexation of the Philippines, and to again try and make concessions with the British for a canal across Nicaragua. Which was another of his long term goals unfinished during his first term.

I'm not sure if I understand the point of the post. Is it alleged that T.R. was a sissie liberal just because he ran on the progressive ticket at the time? McKinley might have been more liberal than T.R.
