A red Apple Is not red !!!

You see an apple and you see it’s red . So you think ..it’s a red apple ..no big deal

However you’re not seeing it’s true colors !!
What your eyes are telling you Is not the real color .
The apple really is not red

You’re seeing the “ rejected color “that was kicked out . The red was scattered out !!!

White light has all the colors
Black light has zero colors

If you close all light sources then you only see everything dark as no white light gets in
LOL how come apples come in many different colors doofus
I think it’s based on the energy it absorbs
Going to vary depending on its origin and area , dummy

The absorb light you don’t see with your eyes
LOL how come apples come in many different colors doofus

Answer, they are different colors

Thank you for reminding us all of what we learned in the 5th grade.
Many don’t remember and you’re starting to really irritate the hell out of me

Looks like you'll just have to get over that.

Line up small jars of paint with every jar a different color. Mix all those colors together. What color do you have, white or black?

Ok that is a totally different matter
I am taking about light
You’re taking about pigments

Light and pigments are two different matters !!
Light is EM waves made of photons

A red apple is a red apple because it reflects red light. The title of this thread is incorrect.

It rejects red light !!!
Light is different than pigments that are man made

Exactly right again.
When dealing with light you're dealing with three additive primary colors red, green and blue. Mix all three and you get white, delete all three and you get black.
When dealing with pigments you deal with three subtractive primaries yellow, magenta and cyan. Mix all three and you get black but delete all three and you get white exactly the opposite that of when working with light. They are called subtractive primaries because cyan is minus red or blue + green, magenta is minus green or blue + red and yellow is minus blue or red + green.
Spend some time with photography and you get very familiar with color science.

I think it depends on their origins and climate and what energy suits them best

Skin color is totally different..i am not a physicist but I am much more educated than most here

A silly question that has nothing to do with my post so I'll let it go at that.
