Democrats Want To FORGET This Insurrection!! And It’s NOT Jan 6th
Democrat's talk a lot about insurrection. Unless it is carried out by Progressives...
Four years after the 2020 siege and insurrection of the Federal Court House in Portland, Oregon, I take a closer look at what happened. What's the truth? How did media cover it? Why do Democrat politicians ignore it, or worse, support it?
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi degraded the whole incident to mere "graffiti" by peaceful protestors. Meanwhile, President Trump was trying to send in Federal law enforcement to deal with the violent mobs.
Who was right? What was the real cost of it all? What really happened in Portland through the "Summer of Love" following the death of George Floyd?
Commentary:
To claim Democrat Neo-Marxists embrace a double standard, is to suggest they embrace standards of some kind. That they do not, is clearly demonstrated with their every action and word.
"DHS: Feds sustained 277 injuries while in Portland, including temporary blindness. The Department of Homeland Security reported that approximately 140 federal officers were injured while protecting the federal courthouse.” The suicides committed by Federal officers have gone unreported, as best I can tell. Also of note from the Washington Times, “The Washington Times reviewed 93 cases filed in the first 18 months after the start of the Portland riots. Of those, only 15 went to findings of guilt. One was dismissed because the defendant died before a resolution, one failed to appear and five were dismissed because of state prosecution. Another case was closed without a final disposition listed in the case file. That leaves 70 cases — a full three-quarters of all the federal prosecutions stemming from Portland’s riots — dismissed without a trial or plea. In the Jan. 6 cases, just two cases have been dismissed, five ended when the defendant died and four defendants were “on the run,” according to a database compiled over the summer by Seton Hall University. The rest were either awaiting trial, awaiting sentencing or had already been sentenced. The Justice Department said it had won convictions against about 850 defendants as of early December and 723 had been sentenced. Of those, 454 were given jail time.” DOJ says the difference is the attacks on the courthouse were at night when the building was largely unoccupied. I was in the building with the US Marshals and the attacks were real, and life threatening. Also of note the courthouse was shutdown during this lengthy period because of the threat. “Mostly peaceful” is right up there with “partly pregnant”. Nonsense. No excuses for this double standard.
Who funded this. Obviously not MAGA people.
