Once again during those 8 years of Bush 2 years one house was controlled by the Democrats and 2 years both houses were controlled by the democrats.

During the 4 years of Republican control Bush had between 51 and 56 Senators. I REMIND you that you lot claimed that from 2009 to 2011 you could not get anything done because you did not have 60 Senators. And you STILL have the Majority in the Senate and can't get anything done.

There was no 8 years of Republican control.

Thank the electorate for putting the brakes on Republican garbage. Had they not..SSI would have been dismantled and Harriet Meirs would be seated as a Supreme Court Judge.

And Cheney is making the chattering circuit, "dismayed", that after almost a decade of war..the US is finally doing something right..and bringing home the beleaguered troops that were tossed into that criminal mess so carelessly, it seems that conservatives forgot they actually where someone's kids, husbands and wives.

They left behind the carnage that was once a great economy. And watched, befuddled, as the very terrorists they were warned about crashed airplanes into one of the greatest and most advanced cities in America..if not the world. And then they used the rage and confusion of that act..to perpetrate a disgusting crime. All while letting the real criminals lounge about in Pakistani mansions, Saudi castles and Las Vegas. Indeed..they tried to mask the true villians.

They watched as Americans died in flood waters, stranded for days..because of the incompetence of the Bush administration.

And they cry like wounded children as good people work overtime to fix their catastrophe.

THAT..is failure.

And they want your support to do it all again.

I notice that "Raw Story" article was from last July, TM...which was before the US got it's credit rating downgraded for the first time in it's history...before the pile of Republican bills started stacking up on Harry Reid's desk over in the Senate...before President Obama promised us a "far reaching" jobs bill when he got back from a couple weeks of R&R on Martha's Vineyard, only to give us a watered down version of the stimulus that didn't work the first time around...before Obama postponed a decision on the Canadian oil pipeline until after the elections in 2012 and used the payroll tax as his basis to try and get reelected.

Wonder how he'd do if that same poll were taken today?

Republicans did not start the wars, they had bipartisan support of most of the democrats. President Bush tried repeatedly to create new regulations on the Housing market and Frank and Dodd beat him every time.

For 4 of the 8 years of Bush Democrats controlled either one house or both. So half the debt belongs to them.

73% of the country think we are still going in the WRONG DIRECTION. President Obama's approval ratings reflect that fact.
