The more government takes over, the less checks and balances there are.

Usually people go to government when they feel they have been wronged, but what if it is government doing the abusing? Then your only alternative is to find a sympathetic ear in that same government.

Increasingly this is where we find ourselves. Abuse continues until people get enough courage to rat them out and hope that their lives are not destroyed in the process.

Case in point was a doctor who wrote to John McCain regarding the VA scandal in Arizona. After she wrote the letter she found herself without a job.

If it were not for an obscure Congressman in Florida the scandal may never have seen the light of day.

Does this sort of things scare anyone but me? Brave men and women were dying on death lists with no one to help them.

Could it get to a point where whistleblowing ends due to the adversity to rat them out?

In fact, how long has this really been going on?
