Amazon workers are sleeping in tents near their work

I do, do you?
lol Obviously, you don't.

share·crop·per
ˈSHe(ə)rˌkräpər/
noun
NORTH AMERICAN
  1. a tenant farmer who gives a part of each crop as rent.

Yup, and that's exactly where the american middle and working classes have been for decades now; kudos.
Tenant farmers? Are you nuts?

Symbolically, yes. A hand to mouth existence, check to check, with homelessness a few paychecks or one serious illness away. Not you? Well good for you, but you will not have a stable society to live in with so many living like that. Watch.
So you are admitting that you didn't know what the term, sharecropper meant. Now you should try to figure out why the rise in productivity is the reason wages are stagnant.

Nah, you're doing what many here do. Assign someone a position to argue, and then pay no attention and write their own argument for them reconstructing the "debate" you had with yourself in a mirror. Pass.

lol It was you who cited the rise in productivity as a reason why wages should rise. I'm simply pointing out that you haven't thought this through.

To bad that has nothing to do with the US, it is based in Scotland and anyone can setup tents and create fake news..
It spoke to the workers living in the tents and Amazon is an American Company.

Does not matter the fake news is in Scotland!

It has nothing to do with the US..

If you want far left rule you can go to N Korea and tell us how great it is!
Derp. Not fake darling. Don't start acting like a pathetic snowflake liberal because your capitalist slave state is getting smacked again.

Says the one that posted a fake news story and got caught!
How's Pizzagate coming along?

Did I? Where.? Refresh my memory. Again, sharecropping, worship the wealthy who's wealth comes from the labor of others pretty much owned in this state of the economy as it was rerigged over the course of the past half century or so.

Odium is proof that National Socialists (Hitler) are SOCIALISTS.

They may hate Communists (and everyone else, for that matter), but they are still SOCIALISTS.

And? I don't believe those are my words, but still. You think that wealth evaporated? Was used to benefit society at large - the society that created the increased productivity?

Are you for real?

The article says "Three:" employees are living in tents and they do so rather than pay for the cost of transportation.

I have news for you nutjob. Transportation is and always has been the responsibility of the individual, not the company. Amazon is doing business within the limits of the law. This entire article and thread is designed to play on the sympathy of the under (liberal) educated.

Wrong, he has only changed his tune since his wife lost her job and now has to use social programs. Not long ago, he was talking about how there were so many parasites living off the government. Funny how view points change depending on your own situation.

Slavery was legal, you're gonna hve to do a tad better than "legal".

"Parasites" = others. "Rights" = me and mine.

I have always been in favor of the government insuring its people are taken care of. I would suggest putting death angel on ignore like I did. Seems like 99% of the people here can't comprehend the difference between Communism and National Socialism so its just easier ignoring their stupidity.

Or you could attempt to explain and discuss, no?

And?
You asked me to show you where you had linked wages to productivity and I did. Do you have too short an attention span to remember? If you understood what you were saying you would see the rise in productivity is what causes the stagnant wages. Higher productivity is the result of technologies that allow workers to produce more, and that means fewer workers are necessary. Fewer jobs means more competition for jobs and allows employers to pay less for workers. If wages are artificially raised through legislation, employers will consider investing in new technologies that will allow them to eliminate jobs. If there had been no increase in productivity due to technology, wages would have risen faster. This is a process that will continue and there are no easy answers to the problems it creates.

False premise, much like the OP and the article.

I don't have to do better. Three people camping out to save money because they don't make enough money is a nonissue to those of us who have lived through hard times and overcame them with intelligence and hard work.

Try again.

If that is what you got out of that, then may I suggest remedial reading?

It's not walmarts fault that the two governments need to change and make laws more protective of their workers.

They don't have to do business with those nations
