Yes. That conclusion is absurd. My government is far more responsible but blaming all Americans for its heinous actions is ignorance.

It's a warped logic, i have been accused of hating Americans for calling out the crimes of their Government, it's ridiculous, i have American family members, these days just Cousins, my Aunt Mums younger Sister married a US airman and moved to the US where she lived all her life until she passed away twenty years ago, three of her kids still live there on worked for the US coast guard one other for NASA, one died some years ago he lived near Atlanta and had served with the US Marines in Vietnam, met him a few times but he was a victim of the prevailing narrative of the time that there was a Communist threat in Vietnam so he enlisted, totally misguided but i never hated him he just needed educating.
