Bruce Jenner is suffering from a mental disorder. I was listening to Amy and Dan on the radio here in chicago and he pointed out that the hospital that began these surgeries stopped doing them...because so many transgenders ended up committing suicide...he also pointed out the work of a Psychiatric professional who bluntly pointed out that this is a mental illness....
So....for all you lefties and compassion junkies......if we should encourage guys like Bruce Jenner to switch sexes...should we also encourage anorexics to diet more? They suffer from the same malady as Jenner, they see their body in a way that makes them perform destructive acts. Instead of helping them, you are aiding in their illness.
How about cutters...should we encourage their cutting as simply a valid expression of individuality and courage...?
And I have to think that pedophiles will be treated the same way...of course this is already in the works....
