Anyone here interested in the history of the ancient Romans? How about the differences and similarities.
I will start it off with a difference:
An ancient Roman father, in pagan times, had absolute power over his family. He could kill his wife and children with little reason. A child was not consider to be human until it could walk. The right of a father to kill a deformed child was unquestioned.
