Don't know if it elected Trump, but it screwed Bush and Kasich, and that is good enough for me.
Any politician who is for making nice on illegal immigration, just took a big hit, and nobody has even spun it that way yet; wait awhile.
And finally, let me address how good Hillary is doing in the polls for everyone..................has anyone attacked her policies yet, face to face? No. Let me explain something to BOTH sides of the aisle.................just because WE agree with our people, doesn't mean the other side does, nor does it mean the independents agree with us.
That being said, look at what America as a whole is saying on the issues in the polls. Look at what America is saying in local elections. Look at what BOTH parties politicians are saying to get themselves elected. There is absolutely little doubt that the Democrats are on the wrong side of almost every issue. (if you doubt me, look)
The whole problem has been since GW got elected was, neither party actually was going to do what MOST Americans wanted. Mcain? Romney? And they were running against a guy who seemed likable, and the media refused to vet him. BOTTOMLINE: Most of the Republican base and independents had no belief that the Republican nominee was going to execute ANYTHING they said they would, and especially in Romneys case, he was running against a guy was perceived as a nice guy, (put forth by Romney himself I might add) and Romney was made out (good campaign strat by Democrats) as abusing dogs, wanting to kill people with cancer, out of touch, and wooden.
Well lefties, 1/2 of that is NOT going to work this time around, because YOU have an unlikable candidate, unless it is Trump....she will be the one out of touch, she is NOT likable, she is the one who will be scrutinized for her votes that go against what the majority of Americans stand for, and her party is on the wrong side of almost every issue being discussed at length today; illegal immigration, the ACA, and tax rates.
So go ahead and wrongfully think that early polls show how formidable your candidate is. She is as about as strong as toilet paper before it gets wet, and the GOP has the hose, lol. It is NOT an argument over which party is correct or not, but rather which party AGREES with the vast majority of Americans on the issues. IN OTHER WORDS: if every one of your LEGAL voters appears and votes, we still have far more than you do if they appear at the polls. It is the GOPs job to make that happen, because if the majority has its way, you are the ones who will become a regional party! Imagine, all the seats you lost in all the states, and losing the Presidency too!
Laugh if you want, but the only thing holding you in any kind of power is Obama, and you are betting the farm on Hillary keeping it up for you. If that is where all your chips are going, the Conservatives should feel very smug indeed!!!!
