Another Trump prtoge convicted of a crime

You're quoting a post with a link that proves me correct. :auiqs.jpg:

Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which is part of the NIH, told Congress in May that the NIH "has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology."

Fauci 'Untruthful' to Congress About Wuhan Lab Research, Documents Suggest

We know that to now be a lie.

Those defending the lie are spinning the lie to say that it's never been proven that is where the virus came from. That is not what he is accused of lying about. He is lying about funding the research, which the NIH later came out to admit we did.

In Major Shift, NIH Admits Funding Risky Virus Research in Wuhan

There could be up to a million dead Americans who if alive would disagree. It was Navarro who advised Trump to close the borders as the coming of an American-assisted Chinese communist virus.

Who do you suppose advised Trump to lift the funding research ban?

Whether the reading prisoner thinks it conspiracy or fact, Obama-Biden White House Science Advisor John P. Holdren pre-empted Trump in suggesting the lifting of the GoF ban.

11 Days Before President Trump's Inauguration, Holdren Advised the U.S. Government to Lift Gain-of-Function Research Ban

And Hunter Biden's link is the Metabiota-Huazhong link to GoF that we've already posted to USMB. (USMB search 'Bottlecap' and 'Huazhong')

Why are so many folks posting at this site so interested in sending politicians to prison?

It is not one's profession, it is their actions.
If their actions are criminal, no matter their profession, they should be held accountable.
Why do you think criminal actions of politicians should be forgiven?
The Amazon cult members excuse Trump's immoral, unethical and criminal actions. It is sick!

Just let the voters decide and not the DOJ.

Let voters decide who hold office.
Let the justice system determine criminality and accountability.

With your logic, anyone who is under criminal indictment could run for public office and have the criminal actions stopped.
I'm against election interference by the justice system. If voters want to elect a person charged with a crime they should be able to.

You look absurd to those USMBers who know that there are thousands of badger's posts that are accompanied by peer-reviewed scientific citations (mostly from Pubmed).
I have seen no evidence of peer reviewed scientific proof of your claims.
Peer review is not just a couple peers. You can always find an outlier opinion of a scientific/medical professional. I see you doing that.
I am sure Scott Atlas is one of the professionals you look to.
There are thousands in each scientific disipline. When 98% have an opinion based on evidence, you don't look at the 2% outliers unless you are badger who does not understand science.

I don't disagree with that. unless they are a convicted felon.
The Constitution is clear on that.

Another Trump prtoge convicted of a crime.
Peter Navarro, a senior Trump White House aide and vocal election denier who has said he helped hatch a legislative scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential race, was found guilty Thursday of contempt of Congress.

Another person who sold his soul to Trump and when Navarro needed Trump, he was not there.

Contempt of the J6 commission is shared by half the country.

The charges against Trump are just political.
You can think waht you want but the vast majority of people do not agree with you. What about the charges against the co-defendants in Georgia.
The witnesses that provided the evidence for a Grand Jury to recommend charges came from Republicans.

Were those Republicans out to get Trump?

Only the dumbest among us.

Smart people answer the subpoena and plead the 5th if they do not want to testify. Many Trump supporters say no one provided Trump's side the the committee. If Trump supporters would have answered the subpoena and testified they could have provided Trump's side. Not only to the committee but the nation through the hearings being televised.
The majority of Trump supporter pleaded the 5th if they showed up.

‘If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth?’ Trump said in 2017

Political prosecutions are bullshit.

There are many political prosecutions every year. Why did you not say anything until Trump and followers were indicted.

  • Mark D. Siljander (R-MI) was convicted of obstruction of justice (2012).[150]
  • Laura Richardson (D-CA) was found guilty on seven counts of violating US House rules by improperly using her staff to campaign for her, destroying the evidence and tampering with witness testimony. The House Ethics Committee ordered Richardson to pay a fine of $10,000 (equivalent to $12,747 in 2022) (2012).[151][152]
  • Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) pleaded guilty February 20, 2013, to one count of wire and mail fraud in connection with his misuse of $750,000 in campaign funds. Jackson was sentenced to two-and-one-half years' imprisonment (2013).[153]
  • Rick Renzi (R-AZ) was found guilty on 17 of 32 counts against him June 12, 2013, including wire fraud, conspiracy, extortion, racketeering, money laundering and making false statements to insurance regulators (2013).[154]
  • Trey Radel (R-FL) was convicted of possession of cocaine in November 2013. As a first-time offender, he was sentenced to one year probation and fined $250. Radel announced he would take a leave of absence, but did not resign. Later, under pressure from a number of Republican leaders, he announced through a spokesperson that he would resign (2013).[155][156][157]
  • Michael Grimm (R-NY) pleaded guilty of felony tax evasion. This was the fourth count in a 20-count indictment brought against him for improper use of campaign funds. The guilty plea had a maximum sentence of three years; he was sentenced to eight months in prison (2015).[158][159]
  • Dennis Hastert (R-IL) Speaker of the United States House of Representatives pleaded guilty in court for illegally structuring bank transactions related to payment of $3.5 million to quash allegations of sexual misconduct with a student when he was a high school teacher and coach decades ago.[160] (2016)
  • Chaka Fattah (D-PA) was convicted on 23 counts of racketeering, fraud, and other corruption charges (2016).[161]
  • Corrine Brown (D-FL) was convicted on 18 felony counts of wire and tax fraud, conspiracy, lying to federal investigators, and other corruption charges (2017).[162][163]
  • Anthony Weiner (D-NY)[164] was convicted of sending sexually explicit photos of himself to a 15-year-old girl and was mandated to register as a sex offender. He also was sentenced to 21 months in prison, a charge that was later reduced to 18 months. He reported to prison in November 2017 and was released in May 2019 (2017).[165]
