Anyone else watching the meteor shower tonight?

Living near DC there is lots of light pollution so I have to go away from town to get a good view.
One year when the peak time was 3 AM, I went out to my secret location in the middle of the USDA research farms about 8 or 10 miles outside of DC. When I got there I discovered it wasn't so secret. There was a line of parked cars and so many people there with lawn chairs, etc., that it looked like a mini Woodstock event. At three in the morning.

hmmm maybe I can hit the roof and catch some, the sun's just starting to go down so I should have as dark as it'll get here in an hour or so.

I'm discovering why police always made me look up and touch my nose when pulled over at night.
This is quite the challenge while drinking

They wouldn't let me join the military. I did do a newspaper route up in the mountain's though, lots of shooting stars and aurora :)

So you people need your phone to post while supposedly watching meteors? That's as good as dancing with someone on the dance floor and texting..
