LOL I lived in Corona, Queens back when I was a struggling college kid. It was always vibrant, yes but not of the good kind.

Maybe it was a great place to live once back in the 1940s or earlier but in the 80's it was pretty much a hell-hole.

The same with Jackson Heights and Elmhurst. Both had great Indian restaurants since most Indians/Bangladesies and Pakistanis lived there.

But that is the way with any city. Paris or London or NYC. Some great places. Some not so much. But so what? And why blame AOC for all the ills of NYC? None of this happened overnight.
