Well it sure looks like they are...How did the lawsuit work out?

The man arrested was tried by a retired judge from outside that area, as no one with zny sense would take it. The judge got the jury to convict the man on interfering with a policeman doing his duty when the dude initially for a faction of a second resisted the cop when the cop suddenly tried to snatch the gun away from him. He was fined $2000 and the judge laughed at him saying he was an example of white trash and stupid ignorant local yokels, or words to that effect.

Civil suit is where the real interesting developments are, and the appeal which are still ongoing.

But if you are legally open carrying a gun, for a lot of cops if someone complains that means you are in violation of the law via brandishing restrictions, but a lot of gun grabbers just piss their pants at the sight of someone with a gun, so I don't think you can go by that any m ore if ever.

Police officers are exempt from some laws such as weapons possession and in some cases narcotics possession. A warrant gives the Police the right to enter private property and kick in your door if necessary. The fact that the Police are subject to investigation and possible prosecution in cases such as the one shown above indicates the system works.

Um, well, the system works in theory, but the actual implementation needs more work.
