Glad Obama beat McCain in '08. Throughout the years as my representative first in House and then in Senate came to view McCain as a war monger who wanted US involvement in whatever squabbles popped throughout the world. Not liking Obama's agenda (heck, he lost a debate with a Toledo plumber!), I voted for none-of-the-above. What disappointed me about '08 was the ass whooping the GOP took in congress.

I am not a Republican because the Republicans are simply the more moderate branch of the Democrat Party. They are almost as Big Government as the Democrats. Democrats didn't fuck up this country so bad all on their own. They had plenty of help along the way from the Republicans.

The only thing is that in relative terms Republicans are a million times better than the Democrats. However, that ain't saying much considering that a million times zero is still zero.
