Sorry, PC issues.........

The title of the thread should have been

At "best," Trumpis looking to curtail the investigation on a technicality.....

We cannot stress enough just how bizarre and outrageous is the Nunes scheme. FBI Director Christopher Wray, appointed by Trump, and Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein, also appointed by Trump, have warned the president that disclosure of the memo would do great damage to American national security.

The FBI publicly has, in essence, said the Nunes memo is misleading. And despite all that, the president plans to allow the release of the memo, which has one purpose only: to discredit and hobble the FBI and the Justice Department that are investigating the president.

Bluntly put, Trump and Nunes surely seem to be acting with corrupt intent to taint the investigators in order to help Trump escape the legal and political consequences of possible wrongdoing.

Opinion | The Nunes fiasco grows more preposterous by the hour

Trump is acting like any criminal defendant against whom the evidence is strong. He is attempting to put the government on trial.

Mueller must be getting close to something which has Trump in a full blown panic.

If Trump is "squeaky clean" as he alleges, WHY all these efforts to undermine the investigation???....Why are his cronies and ass-kissers (like Nunes) trying so hard to get him off on a technicality...

It WILL NOT matter.......regardless of all the firing that Trump engages in, the investigation will GO ON.....

You have shown yourself to be a class A lunatic. Trump is in charge of the government, he is putting the agencies that serve the government, the people, on trail.

It's what mobsters do. When cornered by the prosecutor, they accuse the prosecutor of bias.

It's the mobster reflex.

Trump must be in a full panic about something. And the GOP is worried it will splash on them in the elections.

Considering all of Muller's "convictions and indictments" are really based on technicalities, your protest doth ring hollow.

Indeed.......I'm reminded of what Trump stated about judge Curiel.

Is that what Gotti and Capone did? Who were their prosecutors and what did the mobsters say they did?

/——-/ if Trump is guilty as you claim why all the angst on the left about releasing the memo? Why would Trump OK the release?

GOTTI IS AQUITTED IN CONSPIRACY CASE INVOLVING THE MOB

During the trial, the defense lawyers had accused the prosecutors of going to extreme and unfair lengths in an effort to obtain a conviction.

Sure, because Flynn got caught and had to plead guilty on a mere "technicality"???

Where is Gotti now?

Yeah, that's the ticket.

You libs have bigger problems, the memo will be released tomorrow exposing your lawless corruption and collusion to rig a presidential election. RIP Democratic party.

trump WANTS to release the memo because he "thinks" that would ease the pressure on his sorry hide. The reality is that even if he were stupid enough to fire Mueller, the investigation would still proceed.

The angst about releasing the memo is based more on exposing our Russian assets who......right now.....must be shitting bricks if the memo exposes them to the Russian intelligence apparatus.
