The Australian Liberal Party is the conservative party of Australia, more center-right than anything else. They mean 'liberal' in the sense of 'classic liberal' that is not Marxist pretend liberalism that = libtardism.

The four key 'tactics' appear to be mainly simple virtues of the old morality.

The common axioms of liberalism are based on the old Anglican paradigm of rebellion against a Catholic Empire of one sort or another. The Germans then the Commies served as stand ins for a long time, but now they have to latch on to some other threat like 'intolerance'.

That is a hard sell for a church in place of the actual Gospel.
