You're a sharp one! Indeed, he would spend more time in prison than he is already.Oh no!! Then what? He'll go to prison?

I was referring to the word "criminal",your word, referring to Cohen. And you know he is a criminal, because he got caught. Which means it is weird that you would call him a criminal while scoffing at the claim that we would catch him again. Basically, you just embarrassed yourself. You a sick twisted lair. I was talking about you.
...for Trump.actually, he is testifying under oath to congress, to correct his lying...
which he lied to the first time .....~S~
No problem for Cohen. All he had to do is provide PROOF!!!!!!!!!!!! of any allegation he makes against Trump right? This isn't rocket science Iceberg, it's simply common sense, based on the circumstances invoked in Cohen's situation. He has 1 year only, to spend telling the truth and cooperating with law enforcement, after his conviction and sentence, to try to help enough to reduce his sentence...you need to stop this pretense people do and/or should do the same things you do for the same reasons. But in this case, there is absolutely no incentive to lie. Lying before Congress would bring additional charges against him and more time in prison.or lie if you did tell the truth and it didn't work out for you.freedom of speech baby!!!
actually, he is testifying under oath to congress, to correct his lying...
and he is singing to the Southern district of NY to help reduce his prison sentence.
as with all criminals, he has 1 year after his conviction to ''come clean'' with law enforcement, in order to reduce his sentenced prison time.
it's a good incentive to tell the truth
people don't want want to hear the truth these days, they want to be emotionally validated.
his goal is to come clean, so to reduce his prison sentence. He has by law, one year to cooperate after his sentencing, in order to try to reduce his prison sentence.
then maybe you'll stop pretending your way of doing things is the only RIGHT way.
Prosecutors in the southern district of N.Y. did not delay his sentencing for 60 days for nothing, or simply for Congress to question him... He is being "helpful" to THEM...
BUT lying to congress would nullify any cooperation points and INCREASE his prison time for breaking the law, once again.
this isn't some silly nilly emotional opinion of mine, it is simply sound logic.

These Republican %^%$#'s here have been avoiding truth for 2+ years now Won't change their stripes nowfreedom of speech baby!!!

Everything he says will be backed up by other prior testimony,,,,,SorryOh that's right, convicted felons never lie, do they?freedom of speech baby!!!

YepSorry bout that,
Regards,
- It will be painfully obvious when Cohen strolls up to the microphone right before he goes into prison.
- Is anyone else smart enough to understand this is unheard of, and a presidence that will further rock the whole justice system
- Every person who gets caught up in a Mueller type investigation will want a microphone to perhaps worsen or improve their public opinion about themselves.
- Cohen might as well be pulling the lever on the toilet he is in to flush himself down it.
- This will turn out to be another Liberal Head Spinning Broadcast.
- They hope it will sink Trump, they pray it will but their own heads will end up nearly spinning off.

Mr. Cohen is an admitted, confessed liar looking to save his worthless carcass. What can you say about a lawyer that tapes his own paying clients so he can hold it over them at a later date? If the Mule is counting on a worthless piece of crapola like Cohen to make his case, he is pretty pathetic himself.
You don't need to be a convicted felon to lie ya know? Just look at our President.... he is a chronic liar, and not one single day in his presidency where he spoke to us, via tweet, or on camera, or through witnesses, has he NOT lied.Oh that's right, convicted felons never lie, do they?freedom of speech baby!!!

Of COURSE many felons have lied and continue to lie....
But smart ones, who are trying to reduce their sentence in the 1st year period after their conviction, have a good incentive to not lie to the investigators...because the investigators will find out, and has a good incentive not to lie to Congress this time around, because they will find out, or the investigators will find out, and the felon will be charged with an addition crime, which will ADD to their prison time.
A seasoned felon, may not care.... but a white collar criminal, a lawyer in this case, has to be scared shitless about going to jail and what life will be like for a person like them, while in there serving their 'time for the crime'...imo.
Plus, by LAW, convicted criminals only have a 1 year period after conviction, to wheel(squeal) and deal with prosecutors, to reduce their prison sentence...
It is REASONABLE and LOGICAL to place ones bet on Cohen giving the prosecutors or congress, something of value, that can be corroborated...
His word alone, would be worthless... as you and many others point out, one of his convictions, was for lying before Congress.
The corroboration of any of his accusations must be backed up via... tapes....Cohen taped everything, paper files, another witness or two, like the company accountant....
some thing, or some one credible has to be there to corroborate whatever he says... that's one of the reason's why the new felon gets 'a year period', mainly because it would take time for the prosecutors/investigators to corroborate.
There is NOTHING to gain by Cohen lying now... the first time around lying, he thought the president had his back... now he knows he doesn't, and he knows the President is a vindictive and vengeful man, much like himself... imo. (So he knows up close, the Wrath of Trump that's about to come down on him if he tells Trump's secrets)
or if we are to believe his transformation in to a repentant man, ready to Confess all of his sins before the other members of his church (society)
or if he really is showing his own, inner vindictiveness for Trump leaving him by the wayside early on...
I think he is going to tell the truth about whatever he tells them, both the SD of NY, and congress because he has nothing to gain by lying, but more of the Dreadful Prison time that he is facing.... and he's a snowflake, when it comes to going to prison.
In the end, we all look out for ourselves and family first...
"This man has no credibility, he's known to associate with Donald J. Trump!" -Trumps legal defense, probablyThis will be good. I find it difficult believe Cohen will lie to congress knowing it could easily add years to his sentence. It's plain he feels betrayed by the organization he fixed for. Payback is a bitch.
Yes. The prosecutors will corroborate any accusations he may make, before they would act on it and charge someone else. But he also risks being charged with perjury/lying before Congress if he chooses to lie, which will ADD to his sentence time.... and I simply can not believe Cohen wants more prison time. The FACT is Cohen will need to PROVE any allegation against Trump. This isn't rocket science Iceberg, it's simply common sense, based on the circumstances invoked in Cohen's situation. Good fucking luck with that!
Herr Muller already knows when and where Cohen farted in the last ten years.
Just saying words is not going make any difference. Cohen KNOWS this!
That's true, at least how it is to be viewed, and THIS IS WHY if there is anything pertinent to the investigation or in a criminal way, it will have to be corroborated...Once a rat always a rat… Can’t be trustedYou don't need to be a convicted felon to lie ya know? Just look at our President.... he is a chronic liar, and not one single day in his presidency where he spoke to us, via tweet, or on camera, or through witnesses, has he NOT lied.Oh that's right, convicted felons never lie, do they?freedom of speech baby!!!

What are you actually trying to 'argue' here? That Cohen should just keep his trap shut? If this is your argument, why are you taking that stance? Would you take that stance if it were someone willing to come clean and testify about Clinton? Or Obama?he should just say he didn't mean to lie...or break laws...Yes. works for the left. well, unless the left is after the right. then all bets are off.

I think you need to get yourself in check, before you start pointing fingers...
As the Lord says:
Before you try to remove the speck of sawdust out of another man's eye, remove the PLANK from your own.
