Benghazi: What Republicans have to get passed to impeach Obama

The DoS spent millions on art for their Embassies worldwide the same year liberals claim the "GOP" cut security funding for the Libya compound, specifically the Libya compound....

The whole middle east is awash with weapons which does not change the fact there was no protest that got out of control in Libya on the day of the attacks as the administration claimed nor does it change that the odds of radicals seeing the protest over the video in other countries and deciding to organize not one but two attacks in such a short period of time are slim and none with slim heading for the door.
Organizing the Benghazi attack with mortars, RPG's, and various small arms would have been relatively simple.

Just have the participants meet, lay out the attack plan, have everyone set their watches for the time of the assault, and pass out walkie talkies to the commanders. ..

Shut the fuck up.

The average schmuck in Libya is not trained on how to use a mortar, RPG, etc.

Your greatly oversimplifying that not to mention attacks planned out the way you described have a high failure rate. According to what we have heard about the attack the attackers knew how to set up perimeter security around the consulate during the attack, knew the layout of the building, knew where the safe room the ambassador was in was at, and knew where the gasoline supplies that they used to torch the place were not really the hallmark of guys saying hey grab your weapons meet up here at this time and go get em.

Perhaps, just perhaps, there is some classified information involved. Maybe Snowden can dump that on the Internet, get some more of our people killed, and the righties can blame Obama for that too. For the Republicans being so behind the military I don't see a single one upset about Snowden. Hypocrisy anyone?

Even terrorists are not that good.

Of course they knew the layout of the area and the building.

Heck, they live there and maybe even helped build the building.

You are trying to make the whole thing out to be some kind of complicated endeavor.

Which is nonsense. ..

When did Ambassador Stevens arrive at the embassy?

Knew the layout of a public building? Wow, now that's some top secret information difficult to get hold of.

See, Dean is a pathological liar. You can tell him he's lying a billion times and he will repeat the same lies

Your problem isn't me. Your problem is you're inept. I've thrown that in your face a couple of dozen times:
pie-in-face.jpg

and now you have "rdeanderangement syndrome". It's really quite pathetic. You should move on. Have you considered therapy?
Wherever you are, professional help is near

frank is absolutely right about you. you completely ignored, again, that the budget had zero to do with benghazi. you ignored my post and instead just attacked frank.

you do this all the time.

Republicans quietly raised embassy security by two billion. So obviously, it meant something to someone. Did I really need to say something so obvious?

Knew they layout of the building as in could move through it in a tactical manner under combat conditions. That is a lot more than just having a floor plan.

People here seem determined to turn the attack in Benghazi into some kind of mythical event.

When in reality it was just an amateur assault on a compound by militants using small arms. ..

If Republicans can get passed all this, then they can try to impeach Obama for Benghazi.

I posted 8 points Republicans would need to get passed. Whether Republicans say they don't count, doesn't matter.

Look at the GOP misrepresenting the CBO report on the ACA. The fact they are misrepresenting the facts don't matter to them. Look at "You didn't build that". Obama was talking about the infrastructure business depends on. Republicans tried to desperately twist it into something else. Look at Boehner saying "We got 98% of everything we wanted" and then walked that back as soon as the economy was downgraded.

Remember when Obama was running and he said he would take out Bin Laden no matter where he was? And McCain and other Republicans said that statement proved Obama was inexperienced and out of his depth. That he couldn't go into a sovereign nation. Then as soon as Obama took out Bin Laden, the GOP suddenly claims they deserve the "credit". How can that be?

Only nothing I listed here was a twist of the facts. These ARE the facts.

No biggie...
Yes, it was a tragedy for our country.

But I have trouble seeing the event as a political ploy by the Obama administration as some here intimate. ...

If the ambassador hadn't turned down more security TWICE, you might have a point.

But seriously. No biggie? like the tens of thousands killed and maimed in Iraq? Why were we there again? The "real" reason.
