While the Obama Administration was criticized for its refusal to provide lethal assistance to Ukraine, it did provide over a hundred million dollars in security assistance, as well as a significant amount of defense and military equipment.

I realize you have no clue but without the armament sent after his blankets and medical supplies there would not have been any resistance.
Yes the Ukraine if admitted to NATO would have had to supply their own material. But they were not admitted nor were they going to be admitted in the very near future. They are still struggling out from under Russian rule.
