Osomir, anything is better than our public school system. Private schools do it and for a fraction of the cost.

Having done educational work in sub-Saharan Africa I can assure you that not anything is better than our public school system.

Why would we want our educational policy to be "anything" anyway? Doesn't it deserve more attention than that?

Holy crap man.. I don't know how low your expectations were for those Sub-Saharan kids, but with most large urban US public schools only graduating 50 to 70% of the kids, your standards for being "better than our public school system" are about a snake belly high..
