As shoppers struggled to escape, the agitators wrote Black Lives Matter slogans on the parking lot asphalt with chalk. The shoppers did find a way out and the store appears to be closed."

They were protesting at Wegmans because they have closed all their inner city stores. They were pointing out food deserts. However, Wegmans isn't where low income people shop. They say it's because Wegmans is focusing now on superstores (which they are) and the ones in the city were small stores (which they were). I have heard some businesses say that about shoplifting and robberies, but Wegman's didn't. I'm guessing shoppers may have had to wait a couple minutes for police to arrive and ensure the crowd of protestors was not there to hurt anyone. And then the people in the store left and the store shut down. Those who were almost done with their shopping and had to leave it to evacuate were probably kinda annoyed though. No, I read the article about it from the Rochester paper, the Democrat and Chronicle. It showed shoppers leaving, escorted by cops, with protestors hunkered down writing on the pavement. We have the videoFor starters ( A) there was no violence or barricading and trapping of shoppers in Rochester two days ago. (B) it was not a BLM organized event.
