FROM: 2013 (a document was recently leaked to the Charlotte Observer and it showed how Blueprint NC, a ‘non-partisan’ nonprofit group was gearing up to attack the newly elected Republican Governor and Republican leadership by outlining ideas for how progressive groups should attack Republicans who now control NC state government. Below are their recommendations:
• “Crippling their leaders (McCrory, Tillis, Berger etc.).”

see full doc below

According to the Blueprint NC website:
Blueprint NC and the members of the coalition are strictly prohibited from participating or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office. All Blueprint activities will be strictly non-partisan. In addition, Blueprint activities will not be coordinated with any candidate, political party or other partisan entity.
161016173649-north-carolina-gop-window-exlarge-169.jpeg The leaked memo is expressly partisan in nature and considering that it was given to Democratic office holders and candidates, clearly shows “coordination”. Beyond that it shows a nihilistic approach to partisan politics which resembles the same approach taken by groups that progressives and liberals claim to despise such as the Koch Brothers funded Tea Party Groups and Art Pope’s Civitas.

Blueprint NC’s filing with the IRS for 2011 shows that their funding came from nine sources:

Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, Winston-Salem, NC – $425,000

Mott Philanthropic, Boston, MA – $175,000

Open Society Institute, New York, NY – $150,000 (founded by well known Democratic Party money-man George Soros)

Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation, Winston-Salem, NC – $105,000

Warner Foundation (Michael Warner), Chapel Hill, NC – $75,000

AJ Fletcher Foundation, Raleigh, NC – $35,000

TCF/Warner and Craven (Triangle Community Foundation/Michael Warner and Betty Craven), Durham, NC – $25,000

Taku Fund, (at the Triangle Community Foundation) – $10,000

Bydale Foundation (New York) – $7,500

Never heard of 'em but do you notice your quote emphatically insists on the org having a non-partisan thrust and prohibits any coordination with any campaign................ and then in the next paragraph it switches to a third person voice describing its own reference as "partisan"?

:cuckoo:

I don't know most of the funders but Reynolds is old conservative money. That's R. J. Reynolds the tobacco empire. They pretty much own Winston Salem.

Your own cited "memo" says absolutely Zero about "bombing" or "attacking" anything at all. It reiterates the non-partisan/nonprofit nature of itself as a public charity. Nor does it say or even mention "Republicans" or "Pat McCrory" or anything else. So everything you wrote here completely contradicts itself.

So I don't even begin to see what the fuck the point of this thread is.

And btw your newspaper link doesn't work. Goes to a 404 error.

And by the other way, "Progressives" haven't existed for a hundred years.

GOP office firebombing: 'This is a horrific, horrific act of political terrorism' says North Carolina GOP leader Chris Cioffi News & Observer

jmorrill@charlotteobserver .......................................................................................................................................Gov. Pat McCrory Sunday called the weekend firebombing of a North Carolina Republican headquarters “an attack on our democracy,” while one GOP official called it an act of “political terrorism.”
In a tweet, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump blamed “Animals representing Hillary Clinton and Dems in North Carolina.”
Hillsborough police said somebody threw a bottle of flammable liquid through the window of Orange County’s GOP headquarters, setting campaign signs, supplies and furniture ablaze before burning itself out.

The North Carolina Republican Party said the GOP headquarters in Orange County, about 40 miles northwest of Raleigh, suffered major damage when it was attacked Saturday night. No one was injured during the attack, WCNC-TV reported.

Again ---- no mention of this "Blueprint" charity in the story at all. Anywhere.
Matter of fact the last line in the story is an appeal for leads on the perpetrator. And I quote:

>> Anyone with information is asked to call the police department’s tip line at 919-732-3975. <<

Why are you making shit up? Is this how life works on your planet? You just pull it out of your ass?

Do you even bother to read your own links?

Get comfy. It's story time. Here's the FIRST PARAGRAPH from what you just linked. Ready?

>> Dangerous crackpot Sheriff David Clarke claimed, without offering a single reason to believe him, that George Soros is funding the Black Lives Matter protests in Charlotte, North Carolina. That was too much even for Fox host Neil Cavuto. <<

---- which all has nothing to do with the bombing anyway, and by the way "Charlotte" is not "Chapel Hill" just because they both begin with C.

The Anti Riot Act. One more law unenforced by this administration.”

In a recent article in ZeroHedge, an official of the Charlotte Police Department notes that “70% of those arrested” have out-of-state identification. This should pique the interest of federal authorities. It doesn’t.

Criminals disguised as protestors cross state lines to engage in destruction and rioting. Has anyone heard of the statute that prohibits crossing state lines to engage in such behavior being enforced by federal authorities?

From the Federal Judicial Center, 2101. Riots:

(a) (1) Whoever travels in interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce or uses any facility of interstate or foreign commerce, including, but not limited to, the mail, telegraph, telephone, radio, or television, with intent –

Once again DUMBASS ---- Charlotte is not Hillsborough. The bombing was not anywhere near Charlotte.

Charlotte is however very near a state line. There are plenty of out-of-state people on any given day in that city. They can commute to work from South Carolina. Matter of fact if you live anywhere in northern South Carolina ---- your closest big city is Charlotte NORTH Carolina. It's where your TV and radio come from.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Flooding FOOD_STAMPS_03.JPG spawned by Hurricane Matthew has caused $1.5 billion in damage to 100,000 homes, businesses and government buildings in North Carolina, according to a state estimate.

The figure released late Saturday represents one of the first detailed analyses of damage from the storm, and it's part of a growing picture of Matthew's financial impact.

What the flying FUCK does this have to do with a bombing? Or with the Blueprint charity group?

I'm betting you will fool a lot of low intellect Drumpf supporters with this post. Tell me how many agrees you get.

#BlackLivesMatter ($650,000) – Per Board consensus at our May board meeting, U.S. Programs In November, the Funders Collaborative on Youth Organizing will engage younger activists in Durham, North Carolina. In addition to supporting these convenings, US Programs has provided the groups and attendees of the convenings described here with technical assistance.

The investment was well worth it, it seems. A second document on the Open Society U.S. Programs board meeting February 11-12 of this year relates Black Lives Matter worked to influence the 2016 presidential campaign......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................a separate group also laughed while a homeless man was viciously assaulted.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said in Monday's press briefing that President Barack Obama has consistently praised political activists who sought to overcome significant differences through the use of non-violent tactics.

Soros Blueprint for North Carolina
Leaked email reveals shadowy liberal network in Tarheel State

A nonprofit organization in North Carolina funded by progressive mega-donor George Soros has been linked to a partisan strategy memo aimed at derailing the state Republican leadership’s legislative agenda, throwing light on the shadowy network of liberal groups that operate in the state.
The memo surfaced as part of a set of leaked documents that also contained liberal talking points and polling data. Stephanie Bass, the communications director for the liberal nonprofit group Blueprint NC, allegedly emailed out the documents.
Bass called the documents “CONFIDENTIAL” in her email and asked recipients to share them “with your boards and appropriate staff but not the whole world.”
Blueprint NC coordinates with other liberal nonprofits in North Carolina. The Soros-financed Open Society Institute was the third-largest donor to the group in 2011, according to tax forms. Soros has been linked with other shadowy liberal financing operations, most notably the Democracy Alliance.

Not only does the memo make no mention of "bombing" anything or any implication of any sort of violence at all ----- it dates, if it's even legitimate, from February 2013 --- three and a half years ago. Way before any bombings or Rump rallies, even years before Rump equated Mexicans with 'rapists' to announce a run. So you're still full of shit.

How long are you going to beat this thread before you figure out a point for it?

CLINTON LEADS IN N.C. FOLLOWING TAPE RELEASE (USA Today) -- Hillary Clinton has pulled ahead of Donald Trump in a new North Carolina poll, though she is within the margin of error, following the release of a video from 2005 where the Republican nominee discusses groping women. Clinton led Trump 45%-43% in a Suffolk University poll in the Tar Heel State released Thursday. Libertarian Gary Johnson had 5% support. While Clinton and Trump are still neck-and-neck, her new edge is a reversal from last month when Trump was at 44% and Clinton was at 41%.
