bad move. Brady is a decent QB at this point, nothing special, and McDaniels hasn’t been impressive this year. Staying with Belichick is best option for them.

With Jones as the owner the only type of coach they can allure is a yes man coach. As bad as Prescott is he is trending up and Brady is trending down, maybe Brady could be a mentor but not much else.

IMHO any good NFL team exec can see that Brady is still at the head of the class. Especially if he ever gets his young players to match the focus/intensity of himself and Edelmann.

Only thing wrong with Brady is the newness of his main, core of teammates. If those youngsters wake up over the next few weeks and start to play like "Belichic Blokes" then the Pats should be hoisting the Lombar trophy again next February which means Brady stays with the Pats for next season.

Besides ... what does it say to future FA's ???...that your team execs dumped the greatest QB in NFL history, after he immortalized the franchise over a few decades.
