Brexit Britain - UK space launch flops like everything else in this shit tory country

He is. Brexit is a disaster in every sense.
No . It is homeless Tommy typing out his personal bitterness outside a Tesco store who is the disaster .

Every decent space programme fails a few times before it does what few other people are even interested in .

Look at Elon with his running joke of Space X failures .

Tragic Tommy is a reminder of drear and dismal second hand socialism which has all but disappeared here , allowing

the great people of God's Garden to reassert their rightful place as global Cultural leaders and a become a role model

for innovation , style and taste .

It was not for nothing that the Who sang ," Rock , On , Tommy" when it was time for the bright, new and young things

to replace the tired and jaded old folks .

Its not just the trains Frank.
Well that was all ya gave me to work with
Unlesss you are a hedge fund manager life is pretty shit in the UK.
meh, that's how many Americans see the whole of EU, minus the "hedge fund" thing
I saw last week that a different brewery closes every week in brexit britain. That us a crme against humanity.
Now that is what I call a major catastrophe...on the other hand maybe the problem is that as you sober up as a nation it's easier for ya to see what the rest of us see, cuz nothing looks much different from my house...btw, on the topic of sobering up: there is no more empire, the monarchy exists in name only, and you have a black princess.

Im living it. Not watching it on fox.

Blame Germany and the low-performer Merkel for Britain leaving. She and Macron want a central control that subjegates citizens from all nations to their whims without accepting some key differences.

These nations don't speak the same language or have the same cultural customs but France and Germany wanted their global socialism lead by them. Idiots.

Even famous rock band members were openly in support of Brexit, "I'd rather die standing than live on my knees" they said.

Fucking over putin is the only thing we agree on.
I know. Two puppets of Capital can quarrel with each other inside the country, but when the question is about robbing someone abroad, then the puppets of capitalism, whether they are Tories or Whigs, Republicans and Democrats, forget about their contradictions and the gang unites.
Until it's time to divide the loot or, in case of failure, look for the culprit.

Oh dear. This shit is so 2016.

British Rock Bands became famous on the backs of American Rock Stars. Is there anything you British are good at?

"oppressed" my ass.

The people of the UK voted overwhelmingly for Boris Johnson during the last election.

If you are against him, you must be an insurrectionist.

Even the tories dont want it now.
Mainly because of this. People were promised unicorns not to see their country implode.

Fine.

The tories and you should get together and rejoin the EU, if its such a sweet idea.

Put it up for a vote, and see if the EU can bring Britain the heaven on earth you think it will.

You have to laugh. You cant even catch a train in this brexit afflicted country . So the idea of launching rockets is fanciful.
Another tory disaster.
i'm calling bs on your comment bro..

first of all, this is a commercial space launch done from a new longitude, presenting unique new challenges (British weather in winter, for instance).

they'll get it right. just give them time to work like NASA (ground testing of launch vehicles, keep 'm on the platform to weather the storms there, stuff like that).

and then, hopefully, never drop debris or ICBMs or space vehicles onto mainland Europe. keep the launch angles to 'over the Atlantic', and circle the Earth if you have to to reach Iran. :D

Its paid for by govt funding.

Most ridiculous statement ever. Without British rock bands, rock and roll, already rotting by the early 60s, would have died and been forgotten.
Nothing original came out of Britain. The only reason American rock n roll lost steam in the early 60's was because Elvis went into movies and Chuck Berry and Jerry lee Lewis got in trouble with the law and got blackballed by radio stations.Teeny Bopper stars like Fabian and Frankie Avalon couldn't fill the void vacated by those great rock artists. You have no grasp of rock history.

So naive that it's stupid.

You Limeys just can't admit that your bands copied American bands. You are in denial.
They copied it when they were children and by the time they came of age, British groups were producing independent works. Unlike the heroes of American rock and roll (with all my respect for them) who, until the end of their days, ALL continued to live by performing old hits of the 50s. Absolutely nothing new. Since 1963, rock music has become British.

I'm not a big fan of British bands. To be honest rock music had rhythm and blues as the foundation of its sound and black artists really deserve credit for the sound. Elvis brought that sound into the mainstream and then British bands plagiarized that sound.
