This story again? Seems like our MSM is slow to pick it up from the tabloids........ Jeeze, it first made the rounds in the British tabloids and has at least 5 different variations to it, it first showed up in 2015. The British tabloids claim 1000 meters, six tenths of a mile. One version has the sniper killing three bad guys with one shot. Now it's possible the story in it's original form is true however there's been no confirmation and no way to verify it.

I know that. The point is this story has been around since 2015 (if not earlier), has multiple variations and there's no way to verify the veracity of the story, it could be true, it could be false, it could have a small basis in truth and embellished upon. Nothing more, nothing less.
In my experienced estimation it's probably the latter, given all the variations and was most likely originally published by the British tabloids as a "feel good" story.
