See...it isn't law abiding people owning and carrying guns that are the problem......it is the criminals who use the guns to commit crime.....

Eight shootings in one week

THIS could be the worst month for gun violence in Victoria since 2014, with eight shootings in the first 10 days of March including one man being killed.

The spate of shootings across the state has led to a specific taskforce from Victoria Police to focus on the increase of incidents.

The worst month for gun violence since 2014 was October last year, when there were 12 shootings, including one fatality.

Fairfax Media reports March is on track to beat the number of shootings last October, making it the worst month for shootings since at least 2014.

The latest shooting was last night, when the driver of a black Audi fired at another car with a handgun.

Victoria Police say a Mazda was stopped at a Sunshine West intersection when the Audi pulled up beside it.

The two men in the Audi then drew their guns and the driver fired into the rear passenger side of the Mazda.

Nobody was injured and the Audi fled the scene.

If they confiscated guns ....how do these criminals keep getting them?

The one thing the anti gun people won't tell you is that as the gun crimes were going down for many a year (and they were until recently) KNIFE crimes rose to match the former gun crime level.

AUSTRALIANS are shooting each other less and stabbing each other more.

The latest homicide in Australia report by the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) shows 13 per cent of people murdered in 2008/09 and 2009/10 were killed by firearms, down from 25 per cent in the late 1980s.

But knife murders have risen from 30 to 41 per cent over the last decade.

Victoria has had its worst spate of shootings in two years, following a violent shoot-out on suburban streets and an incident involving a pen pistol.

There have been almost two shootings a day in Melbourne and Geelong over the past week, including the motel killing of Mohammad Hassan.

A cluster of five drive-by shootings in Melbourne's north were over one spat between two feuding groups.

Again, I ask.....how are they doing all of this shooting since they confiscated all of their guns...?

And if they haven't had more actual murders......that is probably because they are such bad shots......since they obviously have the guns to shoot each other with....

I heard a guy on NPR say he would favor more gun restrictions even if it could be proven that they would not have any effect on gun violence.

Refreshing honesty for a liberal. The Democrat party needs to take our guns because only then can they implement their extremist plans to shackle the American economy with socialism.

Yes...no matter how many actual facts you show....they just don't care...they hate guns. They don't care about human history and what happens to unarmed people...mass murder, genocide, and ethnic cleansing........they hate guns.....
