That's a Harley Davidson Duece motorcycle in the picture. Looks like it held up pretty well against that car. It is a softail, and they have a triangulated rear fork. Really strong.

And they can be unsafe, under a lot of circumstances. Just last month one of tech's dad died in a motorcycle accident, and just last Sunday at our shop picnic we found out our service managers dad died in a motorcycle accident. Two dads in as many months. Terrible and odd.

Motorcycles are dangerous, and people should keep that in mind. I just found the picture odd, and it's really more of a testiment about the paper mache they make newer cars out of these days. Funny how the price of cars keep going up, but the possibility of them coming out of a minor accident without getting totalled goes down.
