Diane Feinstein's making a shitload of cash, so that's what matters.

Who Could Have guessed this would happen.

Bonus for the future:

“In the Central Valley alone, the initial cost estimate of $332 million to acquire properties has skyrocketed to $1.5 billion.”

Acquisitions Disputes for California High-Speed Rail Project Drag On
The bond measure we voted on was to have the rail on the coast where the state owns the land. But the repukes in the California legislature said it would be better in the valley where all the land is owned by farmers and corporations.

How else could that money have been spent? Maybe....wildfire management, mudslide management, water conservation, border control.....

They could have spent it maintaining our roads. But then, that would have deprived them of the excuse to raise the taxes on transportation fuels and vehicle registrations.

Something is very, very, very wrong with too many Californians. If enough of us were sane enough, Fairy Moonbeam Brown, and a majority of our state legislators, would be hung from various trees. Or at least we would have passed Proposition Six by an overwhelming margin this past election, to repeal this latest fraud/waste/corruption tax. Then we still would have lynched those fragments of solid digestive waste that infest our state government.

Ah, the Super Majority Democrats bowed to Republicans who have absolutely no power in California!

What a bunch of beta boys.

That's fairly typical of Democraps/LIbErals, to try to blame the results of their failed policies on those who opposed those policies, even in this situation, where the opposition was powerless to do anything about those policies.
