They cannot afford the payment, the free thing is what's its all about. Can the rich in California afford it?

Let the free market decide. It'll work itself out. The rich can absolutely afford it. And if they want work done, they'll have to pay workers what workers need in order to live there. Right?

My co worker chose to move to California even though he's not going to make more because he's mostly commission. But he wants to tap into that Cali market. Thinks there's opportunity there. We KNOW there is. Anyone who can't make it in Cali, move to Texas. What are you going to do in Texas? What is it that you do that you can't survive in Cali but will thrive in Mississippi?

Red states have no social safety nets and even though they take Federal money it doesn't make it to the poor. Example:

This can only be accomplished in a red state.

If the bill becomes law, illegal aliens will be eligible for a new program that offers a loan worth 20% of the purchase price of the residential property. There are no monthly payments and no interest accrues on the loan.

Rather, the loan is paid back when the borrower refinances or sells the property. The borrower will have to pay back the original loan plus a 20% increase in the value of the property.
