I don't understand, why is asking a question about ones citizenship illegal and/or offensive?

This lawsuit plays right into Trumps hands and reinforces his narrative, the average person will ask "what is so wrong about asking this question"?


California to sue Trump admin over citizenship question in 2020 census

California on Monday promised to sue the Trump administration over its decision to ask the 2020 census respondents if they are citizens of the United States.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced the suit against the administration late Monday on Twitter, saying the measure would be unlawful.

“Filing suit against @realdonaldtrump's Administration over decision to add #citizenship question on #2020Census. Including the question is not just a bad idea — it is illegal,” Becerra wrote.

Me too. For frigging 39 years I lived there. The weather is off the charts. Seldom ran heat, never needed an A/C sans a few Santa Ana wind days. Living 2 miles from the beach was really nice

But that's it

I watched that state go right down the crapper

I retired June 30, 2016 and bolted July 1, 2016. I stopped at the AZ border and ran across the freeway to the other side so I could take a big Budweiser piss on the 'Welcome to California' sign.
