Multi year drought. water levels have been falling slowly but steadily for half a decade.

Might be a good idea to look into why. CA has gone through decades of drought historically and used to build reservoirs and account for drought. Unfortunately, environmentalists came along and started tearing down dams and infrastructure in their fake 'save the environment' garbage. The 'globe' may be warming but not enough to dry up your water. We are actually in a cooling trend.

These places will likely be opened up to commercial exploitation soon.
