Without question. There is a reason the U.S is experiencing so many entering your country from the northern border. People always pursue freedom wherever it is found. From the RCMP, OPP on down to the lowly TPS, there is a reason our civil liberties are disregarded.

Many of these reports are very broad and refuse to address core civil liberty issues of the citizens experience, though the U.S state department does a better job through information they get from intelligence agencies and government agencies.

A new report(opens in a new tab) warns of a global backsliding of human rights around the world and says even in Canada(opens in a new tab), "a range of deeply entrenched challenges remain."

The report, published by Human Rights Watch (HRW) on Thursday, looked at the state of human rights, civil liberties and democratic institutions in more than 100 countries, including Canada.
