Uh..Biden, Harris, and even Pelosi are centrists. Pelosi has the task of trying to herd cats as it were. Keeping a broad, diverse coalition together and moving in the same general direction.
She's done a really good job at it too. And I hate to break it to Ryan, but Biden would not have gotten his victory without the progressives coming out to vote for him. That and the minority vote.
Democrats want to be very careful about not alienating progressives. The party at some leadership levels..is..OLD.
