Is he smart enough not to tell anybody to choke him out for any stupid reason, or did having you tell him that, make it a badge of honor type thing? Hey, this might be some Darwinian trait you have acted upon and re-enforced to the next generation.

I went to high school with a kid whose parents came from the UK. My friend had a slight British accent and both he and his father were members of the high IQ society Mensa. He might have been a target for the school bullies but for the fact that one time in the gym locker room he demonstrated his ability to choke a person out. Nobody messed with him after that.
