1. Why does one Earth polar circle, the Antarctic, have 9 times the ice of the other, the Arctic?

2. If CO2 is melting Arctic Sea Ice, why is the Antarctic Sea Ice growing?

3. One million years ago, North America was covered in glacier ice down through Indiana, while Greenland was all forest. Now, Greenland is covered in ice and North America has trees hundreds of miles north of Indiana. Hence, during the past million years, North America thawed while Greenland froze, all at the same time on the same planet with the same atmosphere and the same amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, so what did CO2 have to do with either event?

4. The Marshall Islands are suing us in international court, claiming we are causing sea levels to rise and their islands are "sinking" because of that sea level rise. Should we, the taxpayer, just pay those damages, or should we notice that the Marshall Islands are right on the lip of the tectonic formation known as the Pacific Ring of Fire, and hence are sinking because the tectonic plate beneath them is being pushed under the adjacent plate? In fact, the only islands on the planet that are also "sinking" are all right on the lip of the Ring of Fire too, while nothing else is sinking. In 2 million years the Marshall Islands won't just be underwater, they will be lava under Earth's crust. Should we pony up the cash, or should we fight the concept that we are liable for plate tectonics halfway around the globe?

Yes, yes, we've been such good stewards of the Marshall Islands over the years, our concern is so genuine.
