They were and were continued to be carried out through all eight years of Obama despite promises to the contrary and absolutely no reason for us to be in either.

Hillary and Obama IMO committed treason when they were caught running arms out of Libya that ended up going to groups who then used them against our troops who were in places they had no business being in.
