The states have historically, going all the way back to the Marshall Court, been more dangerous than the federal government when dealing with issues like this

The states have historically, going all the way back to the Marshall Court, been more dangerous than the federal government when dealing with issues like this

I know, and the states are far more into censorship, anti-freedom of religion, require a religious test along with an affirmation oath when sworn into office, etc.. I could go on and on about how abusive states are on civil rights...
