He broke the law, and so did Trump, by accepting the contribution. I don't see why he goes to jail and Trump doesn't for that. I don't think putting pols in jail for campaign finance is really a good practice, but Trump wouldn't have gotten the suburban white women vote if the Stormy Daniels story broke at the same time Comey laid his November surprise.

But Cohen's career was more about delivering Trump's threats of economic blackmail against people with legal claims for his not paying them money they were owed and carrying payoffs from Trump to people. So, he's made money hurting people less powerful than he, and his father was a holocaust survivor. He's not worthy of any empathy, imo. Most powerful people who go down have a mixed bag of doing good for humans. I don't see the good with him.
