Colorado School Shooter a Socialist... and "Bullied"

One article said the teacher ran out hoping to draw the shooter out of the school. :dunno:

well, that clearly failed.

but nobody tells why the teacher was the target.

I read or heard, the debate teacher was the target because he had bounced the shooter from the debate team.

it is very sad, as you said before. the whole society is to be blamed for - the kids grow up without knowledge how to take a defeat honorably and without knowledge that defeat in life is as natural as living itself.

Also Saturday, Robinson identified the wounded student as 17-year-old Claire Esther Davis. Robinson said Davis was seated with a friend near the door Pierson used to enter the school when Pierson shot her at point-blank range.

Davis wasn't a specific, intended target, the sheriff said.

by this statement it looks like he shot the girl first thing upon entering the school
==============
Robinson said that after the student entered the high school at approximately 12:33 p.m., near the student parking lot, he asked for the teacher by name.

The teacher authorities said Pierson targeted was credited for making the "best tactical decision" by attempting to lure him away from the school. It was there that Davis was critically injured and Pierson turned the gun on himself, authorities said.

the above paragraph depicts a totally different sequence - that Davis was shot after Pierson looked for the teacher and learned that he isn't there.

So which sequence is correct?

It is the same article and it describes two different scenarios
!

The shooter entered Arapahoe High School armed with a shotgun and looking for a teacher he identified by name, Sheriff Robinson said.

"(The teacher) knew he was the target and he left that school in an effort to try to encourage the shooter to also leave the school," the sheriff said. "That was a very wise tactical decision."

There is something very odd about that report.
I'll try to break it down why I feel this way at a later time.

Why does anyone think this guy is a liberal?

From the article:

a dedicated, bright student from a religious family that attends Bible study meetings.

"Bible Study Meetings"? That doesn't sound very "liberal".

another quote:

"I was wondering to all the neoclassicals and neoliberals, why isn't the market correcting itself?" he wrote. "If the invisible hand is so strong, shouldn't it be able to overpower regulations?"

Sounds more like a complaint against regulations. Something someone on the side of, say, "Wall Street" would say. Again, not very liberal.

On the other hand, he does seem to make fun of Republicans:

"The Republican Party: Health Care: Let 'em Die, Climate Change: Let 'em Die, Gun Violence: Let 'em Die, Women's Rights: Let 'em Die, More War: Let 'em Die. Is this really the side you want to be on?"

Even some Republicans mock those GOP mainstream views. I know a couple of Republicans who were not pleased with the GOP presidential debates and the GOP screaming out "Let him die" about a young man without health care who lapsed into a coma.

And the final clue? Access to weapons.

yes, there is. as it is with the other articles.

they are telling the information which is contradicting right there - even in the consequence of the events.

deanie, just deal with it - by the description of his views he himself described himself as socialist :

Thomas Conrad, who had an economics class with the gunman, described him as a very opinionated Socialist.

it does not matter what views he had.
what matters is what pushed a bright, popular student, a high achiever, to this edge. and why wasn't he prepared to deal with any potential defeat in his life - being kicked off the debate group, or whatever else - is not the end of the world.

it is bolded - those are the words form the article.

It does not matter what his political beliefs were. He was definitely pushed to the edge.

a teenager is a very unstable human being.
and it is very easy to push them to or over the edge.

especially the susceptible ones.

The adults here are the ones to be blamed. I would start with the coward teacher.

You are an idiot.

piss off partisan blindfolded moron.
he was 18.

Screen shot where it states "Thomas Conrad, who had an economics class with the gunman, described him as a very opinionated Socialist."

If you can't-you're making it up.

The Denver Post edited it out. I am asking them for the reason and lack of retraction.

There is a serious problem going on in this nation and the op felt it would be best to prove how much of a moronic troll he can be.
