With news of the sudden death of Justice Antonin Scalia, the Obama White House and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton are already staking a position that President Obama, and not his successor, should appoint Scalia’s replacement. But it’s useful to remember that one member of the Obama administration – Vice President Joe Biden – once had a very different opinion on the Senate’s ability to block a president’s nominee at all costs.

The Lion of the Senate departed for that special hell reserved for scum like him, while the other maggot could very-well end up with the Democrat party’s nomination. There is no better reason than Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden to repeal the XVII Amendment.

Without the XVII Amendment there would never have a been “Senate Administration” like the one the country got in 2009. The press decided that a senator was going to be president. So the public was given the choice of the Chicago sewer rat, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden or John McCain. If you disagree please explain why so many senators have been running this country since 2009 were it not for the media.

NOTE: The Senate will fight President Ted Cruz to the death even though he is a senator. On the other hand, the Senate will embrace Senator Marco “Amnesty for Illegals” Rubio. (The Gang of Eight consisted of eight senators.)

Media influence

Print, and television mouths, protected Biden and Kennedy when they invented “Borking.” Today, they are preparing to frighten Senate conservative’s out of blocking Taqiyya the Liar’s nominee:

Bork's name became a symbol of conservative grievance, and a new verb — to "bork" — was born, defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as "to defame or vilify a person systematically."

Robert Bork's Supreme Court Nomination 'Changed Everything, Maybe Forever'

Here’s one for Americans to chew on.

Associate Justice Anthony “Swing Vote” Kennedy succeeded Lewis Powell after the Senate refused to confirm Robert Bork. A wag might say that Biden, Ted Kennedy, and media got a man they approved of. A conservative can make the case that the country would have been better off had Robert Bork been confirmed.

Bottom line: Look for Taqiyya the Liar ‘s political hack to sail through the confirmation hearing.

Finally, I will remind everybody that another long-serving senator, Republican Orrin Hatch, NOMINATED Ruth Ginsberg:

. . . let’s also not forget the historical context. In 1993, then-President Clinton reached out to Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), a leading senator on the Judiciary Committee, even though Republicans were in the minority. Clinton solicited suggested nominees for a Supreme Court vacancy, and Hatch recommended Ginsburg. Clinton agreed and Ginsburg sailed through.

You can count on good old Hatch once again helping out the sewer rat:

Guffaw. A Utah Republican, Hatch was one of the biggest, fattest facilitators of that lawlessness from the first days of the reign of Obama. Beltway amnesia among entrenched incumbents is a chronic disorder.

“I like Barack Obama and want to help him if I can,” Hatch declared in January 2009, just weeks before the Senate voted on President Obama’s attorney general nominee, career corruptocrat Eric Holder.

The rendering is good, but I doubt if establishment Republicans have that much political courage:

I am sure when Democrats tanked Robert Bork in 1987 someone among them—probably even Biden—must have known that what goes around comes around.

Republicans have been waiting 30 years for payback for the shameful rejection of Bork; that day has arrived. Time to pay up, Dems.

BTW: It's not the Lion of the Senate, it's the Liar of the Senate.

In this case, the biggest liar.

Why do all the pro-Bork articles being submitted fail to mention his betrayal of the DoJ, his superiors and the American people during his most famous action, the betrayal of the American people and his lack of integrity and ethics when he was called upon to show that integrity and ethics during the Saturday Night Massacre? He became the most despised man in America during that show of cowardice and betrayal.

Media liberalism, parasites, America-haters, and envious freaks elected Taqiyya the Liar, but it was Congress and the Supreme Court that created him decades before he was a community organizer.

All of the bullshit flying around about saving the Constitution by blocking the Liar from filling ONE VACANCY on the Supreme Court is too late. Saving the Constitution was too late when President Eisenhower filled five vacancies: Chief Justice Earl Warren, Associate Justices John Marshall Harlan, William Brennan, Charles Evans Whittaker, and Potter Stewart.

. . . Eisenhower expressed his regrets in appointing Warren and Justice Brennan and described both appointments as big mistakes. The President described the favorable recommendation he had received on Justice Brennan as ''off-base.''

Eisenhower finished his observations to Burton by saying that in finding a replacement, he would pay more attention to ideology than he had in the Warren and Brennan appointments, which were both made for political reasons.

Eisenhower's 'Mistakes'

In the same vain, Bush the Elder got a favorable recommendation from REPUBLICAN John Sununu when he sent David Souter to the Supreme Court. Happily, Souter retired after 9 years. Sad to say nothing changed when he was replaced by Sonia Sotomayor.

My point: You never hear anybody with a public voice say “Save Socialism” when a liberal leaves the Court. That tells me that keeping political hacks, liars, and double-dealing sneaks off the SCOTUS is impossible with the best of presidents because there are more political hacks, liars, and double-dealing sneaks in the pipeline than Scalia’s.

To Muhammed: Did you get that idea because the VP breaks ties in the Senate? A minimum of poor man’s research would have set you straight:

The Vice President of the United States (VPOTUS) is the second-highest position in the executive branch of the United States, after the president.

Garbage,

He did his job.

It had nothing to do with his behavior or affinity to the law.

The only people who lost their integrity (and in the case of Ted, the liar of the senate.....who didn't have any to begin with), were people like Biden.

In the middle of all this, Biden was exposed for his plagiarism and ended his presidential bid.

Yep, dig Earl Warren up, burn his carcass and don't bother burying what's left....

He was that bad.

Didn't judge the law...just asked what was "right". Like he knew.

If he wanted to do "right" he should have become a pastor.

To Sun Devil 92: Right on. Every dirty little moralist who goes into government wants to be a spiritual leader. Earl Warren went to his grave certain infanticide was the right thing.
Notice how the far left resembles a cage of agitated baboons ?

GOP gets squishy: May allow vote on Scalia replacement

Media already has those Republicans up for reelection in November running scared. Question: If saving the Constitution is important how come Republicans do not run on blocking the sewer rat from filling the vacancy?

Question: How come Democrats do not run on seating more anti-Constitution judicial activists on the SCOTUS?

Same answer to both questions: Because the media and the Washington establishment like things as they are.
